Philosophy
Termquest.com holds the privacy and security of our site visitors and lisensees in the
highest regard. The following information explains what kind of information is gathered on
our site and how that information is used.
No spam.
No cookies.
No hassle.
No kidding.
Please bring to our attention any instance where you feel these policies have been
violated. We can be reached via email at info@termquest.com.
Each of our licensees' names and addresses can be found on their respective TermQuest®
sites. What's collected and what's not?
You can visit our site without telling us who you are. You will need to supply some
general personal information. While IP addresses (the Internet address of a computer) are
logged to track a user's session, the user remains anonymous. Tracking IP addresses gives
us an idea of which parts of our site users are visiting and how long they spend there. We
do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's
session is tracked, but the user is anonymous. The user's browser also lets us know the
type of computer and operating system being used. We capture the email addresses of only
those who fill out our request for insurance.
How is info used in completing the Quest?
In order for you to complete the quest, you need to supply personal information
such as gender, height & weight, tobacco use, coverage amount and the state you reside
in. This general information is used to generate a quote for term insurance from several
companies. As mentioned, previous users remain anonymous.
How is email information used?
The email addresses are used to send you information that you requested. We never sell,
rent, or loan our email lists to outside firms: No Spam.
What levels of security does termquest.com have?
Termquest.com is using a secure server. Because life insurance needs to be sold by a
licensed agent, personal information will need to be disclosed. The personal information
we will ask is taken via traditional methods which is shown on the request for
application. We still use phone, fax, or postal mail. |
